[SOLVED] Will I be able to use Freesync (AMD) on my G-Sync monitor?

I have the Viewsonic XG2760 G-Sync monitor,but one of the new AMD cards looks like a better fit for me.
Will I be able to use Freesync on this G-Sync monitor?
I can find articles on how to use NVidia cards on FreeSync monitors but not the reverse
