Will i get more FPS with a better CPU?

Hello,

I resentley bought a new graphics card: the MSI GeForce GTX 770 gaming.
In reviews it was really good and i have seen tests of it.
But in a review they did arma 3.
But mine really cant reach that "level"
And i know my graphics card is the only good thing about my pc, the CPU isnt the best: AMD A6-6400K APU with radeon HD graphics 2 CPUs 3,9 GHz.
Is the CPU the problem or something else?

Yes, you really need a new CPU. That one is severely bottlenecking your GPU. Problem is, you would need a new motherboard as well.

Yes. The A6 will bottleneck the 770. It is only dual core so even with a quad core APU, you should see some performance increase but I would recommend at least an FX 6300.

Getting a 6300 means a new motherboard too, and a dead socket to go with it. Depending on his motherboard and budget, he should just get an A10 and overclock it.

An A10 is a bad idea when it would make more sense to get a 750k/760k, which would still bottleneck. A 750k, clocked to 4.2ghz starts to bottleneck once you get to about an R9 270/270x.

Yes, you're right. I forgot about the 760k. They can be had for $89 now. Not a bad deal if OP does not want to upgrade mothetboard at the same time.
