Will I need a Bios update?

I need to upgrade my i3 6100 to an i7 7700k because of my gpu being bottlenecked. I checked pcpartpicker to see if my motherboard was compatible with a kaby lake cpu (motherboard is Asus - H110M-E/M.2 Micro ATX LGA1151 ) and pcpartpicker said it may need a Bios update from an older cpu. If I do have to update, how do I do it? If I don't, can I just swap them out with no extra steps?

You'd have to update. Try using ez flash in BIOS.
