Will I need to overclock my RAM?

I just bought a ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 motherboard, an AMD FX-6300 and HyperX Savage 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Dual Channel Kit. On the motherboard page it says it supports 1600(OC), but if I go to Memory Support List it says "Note2: AMD FX series CPU on this motherboard support up to DDR3 1866 MHz as its standard memory frequency. " so will I be able to run it at 1600 without overclocking? If I need to overclock it, how exactly does it work since it already is 1600 by default?
As I was making this post and checking Kingston's page I noticed that it says:
"Compatible with H67, H97, P67, Z68, Z77, Z87, Z97 and H61 Intel chipsets, as well as A75, A87, A88, A89, A78 and E35 AMD chipsets"
Will it even be compatible with my motherboard?
Thanks!

Thanks! I picked 1600mhz because it was cheaper than 1333mhz...
How about the compatibility? Will it work even though it doesn't show the mobo chipset in the supported list? I didn't even know there was such thing, thought all RAM sticks work on all mobo as long as it's the same DDR and the mobo supports the frequency.

The ram would be compatible dont worry .
