hello all
im thinking of upgrading my cpu from a ryzen 3 1200 to a ryzen 5 2600. would i need to update my bios?

Yes. You'll have to update.

Just do the update method while booted in windows.

Your board requires BIOS version F20 or later to support ryzen 5 2600 .
Read BIOS update notes before actual update process. Follow them precisely.
