Will I still be able to run games at 60fps with this new monitor?

So i'm contemplating buying the BenQ ZOWIE XL2411 144hz monitor but i'm worried if i'm going to be able to confidently run games at 60fps or more. I usually play games like PUBG, Path of Exile, Warframe, and random MOBA's.
My current specs are: i7-4790k CPU @4.00ghz, GTX 970, Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8 GB DDR3 RAM, and a CX750W PSU (Using windows 10 aswell). Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Monitor doesn't affect FPS unless you get a higher resolution monitor than you currently have. E.g you have 1080p monitor and you're getting 1440p monitor. That only applies when you set your resolution to higher one. You can use 1080p resolution with 1440p monitor just fine.

Btw, BenQ Zowie XL2411 monitor is solid entry-level 144 Hz monitor that will do well with games and you can see up to 144 FPS from your games if monitor's refresh rate is set to 144 Hz.
