[SOLVED] Will I still be able to use my i5 2nd gen on my updated (for Intel 3rd gen) motherboard bios?

I have G2010 (3rd gen) with my Asus P861 MlX R2.0 which is compatible with 2nd gen i5 2500k. Will I require change in bios to use i5 processor.

You should be able to use your I5 2500k with any bios revision, including ones that support 3rd generation.

OK, this means I just have to buy a i5 processor and attach it. Update bios (3rd gen, it's running, so it must be fine) wouldn't cause any problem. ☺
