[SOLVED] Will intel i7 920 bottleneck GTX 1070 ?

CPU: Intel I7-920
CPU Cooling System: Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B
MotherBoard: GigaByte X58A-UD7
RAM: Adata DDR3 8GB 1600Mhz
EVGA 650W

Is my 920 still good enough for 1080p gaming

Short answer is "yes". It's definitely good enough for 1080p gaming at 60FPS, but not much more.

It's a good enough CPU, and in some games will still push that 1070 to the max. It'll play The Witcher 3, BF1, GTAV, Fallout 4 just fine still.
