So its coming down to the time where im going to build the PC. now of course since its first pic i got alot of questions but basically i got it most down..
Currently this is what i planned on Building. - http://pcpartpicker.com/user/chris123/saved/2Irs
Now lets get to this I want to make that build a bit cheaper. But i want to be able to run BF4 atleast on high still...
So i was thinking Swap the i5 for an fx 8350? but will that bottleneck with the 760. so should i go with i5 still and get like a 650 ti boost and SLI it come January when i got spare $$?
I did plan on SLIing the 760 then too so im assumming an FX8350 for sure wont be able to handle an SLI'd 760 would it?
sorry for the ranting aha

...no way getting i7 far out of budget lol. And that actually wasnt to bud for a bottleneck considering 8350 is half the price of an i7, i just wont crossfire ill save the money and upgrade CPU eventually to i7 or next best CPU. As long as an 8350 isnt bottlenecking 1 760 im sure i will enjoy games with extremly playable fps

90-100 was on BF4 with Ultra settings with 2xAA in SP
Bioshock Infinite stays around 100+ with 8xAA

I would get the Vanilla 290 though, it is barely slower for $150 less.

on muiltiplayer damn nice. and crap i just realized i was looking at 8350 thinking was 158$ (8320 is its above it on pcpartpicker) so id be going for the 8320....how would that be on bottlenecking issues...?

The 8320 is just a lower binned 8350, same chip. You can OC it and get 8350 performance easily with a good cooler.

nice alrighty thanks for the info man

First off why are you going for Ivy instead of newer haswel?

Second you need 2 x 4GB to take advantage of the performance that you get from dual channel.
That chassis will not cool well.
You need to invest more if you want quality.
If you plan on overclocking you will also need better motherboard.

So here is my suggestion :

The Z87 Haswel platform has its advantages too. More PCI-e lane availability, more SATA 3 and USB3 connectivity.

And heat really is not that bad.
