Will a GTX 960 2GB/4GB fit in a AMD 760G Chipset AM3 FX motherboard? Im doing abuild later this year and im wonering will it fit? I like beefy GPU's so this is a good gpu that is great.

Most definetely just make sure it fits in the case nice and snug
This is a really good gpu by the way I play GTA V on 60 FPS on high settings and some of the latest games like The Witcher 3.
Which CPU fan do you use? If its a intel stock fan it'll fit but anything else please tell me
WARNING: Keep in mind your motherboard only has a PCI EXPRESS 2.0 slot. The GTX 960 requires a 3.0 slot. Don't worry it will still work but don't expect the performance to be as advertised.
Hope this helps :)

For gpu compatibility, you usually check for:
1. Whether your current psu meets the requirements of the card. If not, you would have to upgrade your psu.
2. The length of the particular variant of the card you're getting and whether your case has the necessary gpu clearance for it.
3. Whether your current cpu is powerfull enough to get the most out of your card.

I doubt there is a difference of the gpu performance from using pcie 2.0 instead of 3.0, so I would not upgrade the mobo just for that. The only reason I would upgrade the mobo is if I'm thinking of a cpu upgrade of a different socket.

I wasnt saying to purchase a new motherboard. Just saying that the performance will slightly be decreased
