Will a Lenovo - 15.6" Laptop - AMD A12-Series - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Platinum gray run CSGO smoothly and be playable? Please look up laptop specs on Best Buy. Thanks

You haven't actually given us a model to work with - but yes, an A12 APU + 8GB Ram should be able to achieve a very playable, smooth experience in CS:GO.
You may have to tweak some settings for optimal results/performance, but the A12 should give you no problems at all.

It's a little hard to say without having used it myself but, consider the resolution is 1366 x 768 and the fact the APU is solid enough, I'd expect it *could* run just about anything, with some titles having to drop to low settings.

Although, just because it *could* run just about anything, doesn't necessarily mean you should. YMMV, and I'd suggest looking up benchmarks (or even just Youtube videos) of X game specifically on the A12-9720P APU.

No problem. Just realize it's not the strongest CPU/GPU combo in the world and will likely have some limitations re: settings etc, but it's also <$400.

The alternatives would be to get into something budget(ish) from Intel+nVidia, but something like an i5 + 940MX is going to set you back around 50% more - although you'd get substantially more gaming 'grunt' from it.
