I have a Asus H110M motherboard, I want to purchase a new processor (intel i5), would a i5 fit in this motherboard? Thanks

Yes it will. however if you decide to upgrade to a 7th gen like the i5 7500 you will need to do a bios update. If you update to a 6th gen like the i5 6400 you will not need a bios update. You can update all the way up to a 7700k with the bios update.

i5 6400, i5 6500, i5 6600 will work out of the box

i5 7400, i5 7500, and i5 7600 will need for the bios to be up to date before it will work



so make sure the bios is up to date before swapping in the newer gen i5's

It will work, but you can't overclock any CPU on this MOBO.
