My psu is a Liteon PS-6301-08A, my computer is a pre-built acer am3300-e1222. I want to know if I can run a 750 ti with problems or not.

I've already researched a lot into if a 300 watt can run it and mostly people said it could, then I searched my exact unit and they say it's not to good of a idea, though I already ordered the gpu and don't have enough for another psu. I want to know if I'll be able to use this gpu.

Only reason I'm worried is because my pc is around 4 years old and recently today started saying "no signal" randomly when playing the game "paladins" (would this be a cpu or gpu issue or something else? A month or so ago I took off the heat sink by mistake and just put it back on without re-applied thermal paste and I think maybe CPU is failing. Temps always hover around 60c though so I don't think it's over heating.)

My pc is the exact same as when it was bought and was not upgraded / changed.

Thanks for any answers.

Well that really didn't help at all, my pc has a custom motherboard and other things that can't even be found on pcpartpicker. That's why I asked here. Any other help would be appreciated.

I double checked and you should be fine with 300 watts.

Yeah, I was originally going to go with a 750ti when I had my old PC, upgraded since then, but the 750ti is a low power card. Though with a 300w PSU, i'd assume you are building in an OEM case which can have cooling issues, if its got good airflow, I would definitely go with that card.

I gave my pc model in the question (nothing was changed same case) is that a oem case? I'm pretty sure it's micro atx it has one case fan in it and has a couple holes on the side panel that's used to open the case. So airflow is decent u guess? Say airflow wasn't good would that just cause overheating? Or take more watts or something. What temp would be to high for a gpu? Thanks.

It is an OEM case. Airflow does seem like an issue with that case, having only one intake fan and nothing to exhaust it, overheating probably wouldn't happen but either way it'll definitely raise the temperatures of your GPU (and entire system in general) meaning that 750ti would have a slightly lower life-span and could perform worse. I think getting another case is your best bet here, as they don't cost that much especially considering its a micro-atx case. Airflow just isn't enough but it can be passable if you really want to risk the higher temperatures.

@mekyle99 hmm, ok. What temp would be good for a gpu in that case? Im not buying a new case and thats for sure because 1 dont have enough, 2 really domt feel like taking it all apart and i feel like i would mess something up.

@zerk2012 only 276w on 12 rail? What does that mean? Do u think 276w would be enough? I really domt have enough for another psu so i really want this to work out.. Can you link a used very cheap 350w or something above that for around 10-20 dollars? Im 15 domt got alot of money. I think i will just risk the psu and put the 750 in there anyways. Cause i dont got that much money.

A general temperature range that you don't want your GPU to reach is above 80c+. 70s is where a good amount of cards end up. If you somehow had room to install another fan, i'd definitely do that.

Anyot hero pinions on this psu? Also if u got any better psu u keeping around your willing to give or sell it would be highly appreciated if yoy private message me the price or if its free, the wattage etc. Thanks.
