Question will my 8 pin pcie on my psu work for a gpu with a 16 pin pcie

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If you're referring to a single 8pin PCIe connector and a single 12VHPWR connector, then no, it's impossible.

Just curious, what is the make and model of your PSU and it's age and what did it power throughout it's tenure? If your PSU lacks the connector, you either have the wrong PSU or the wrong GPU for your build.

Please stick to one thread unless you want spaghetti brains.

Thermaltake have a lot of PSU's in their portfolio both new and old, which one are we talking about here? If the unit is used, please reconsider a new reliably built PSU. You didn't exactly answer all of my questions.

Sorry, I bought this psu used and have only been using it for a couple of months so i dont know what it has been used with, but for the make and model it is the smart series 600w model SP-600NNFAG
