Will my Asrock Extreme3 990fx support the new AMD FX 9000 Series?

I want to upgrade my cpu to something more powerful cause I am power hungry for performance and I do a lot of photo editing. Do you think my mobo can handle something like a AMD FX-9590 and also what is xmp memory?

No, only the Extreme9 and the Fatal1ty Professional do.

It hardly works with amd 8350.
I will recommend get better motherboard.
