[SOLVED] Will my Asus ROG Swift PG279 G-Sync monitor still work decently with an RX 5700 XT?

Currently i'm using a GTX970 with G-sync. I'm planning on buying a 5700xt. I know G-sync won't work, but will my monitor still run decent and get a 144hz refreshrate ?

Yes it will work fine. If you achieve 100+ FPS you don’t really need G-Sync. I actually have G-Sync switched off on my 1440p 144Hz monitor although using a 2080S. However I do sacrifice game settings to ensure I average 120+ FPS with a cap at 140 FPS.
