Will my board (970A-G46) work with the Samsung 960 Evo?

Will my mobo work with the 960 Evo m.2 ssd? If not, then could I use a pcie adapter and boot Windows 10 off of it?

I'm not seeing an M.2 slot on that motherboard, so no. It would not work.

You might be able to run it through a m.2 PCIe adapter, but your board has PCIe 2.0 which would run the 960 EVO at half speed. I would just go with a 850 EVO as it will give you very similar performance.

Your bios does not support booting from an NVMe drive, so even with an adapter you could only use the drive as fast storage and not a boot drive.
