Your build will be fantastic, however you will need a graphics card to get a visual on your monitor. If you can't afford anything beefy, then you can buy a temporary card, something really cheap, that will only run 2d graphics (for your OS)

If you don't plan...

Ok, once you get the build up and running with Windows installed I'd recommend going into the BIOS and enabling AXMP/XMP as that will make your memory run at the correct 3000mhz. The difference between that and the initial stock 2133 for DDR4 can be up to a 20 FPS difference. Also just a heads up that the 1500X doesn't have a iGPU so you do need a dedicated GPU (graphics card) to get a visual with that build.

Have fun building!

If it doesn't boot the first time don't fret as it's probably something minor you may have overlooked.

Your welcome! One thing I forget every once in awhile when I go to turn on a recently completed build is the switch on the PSU and I've been doing this for 15+ years (hobbyist). If you do run into issues where the list I posted didn't help feel free to post again as we enjoy helping each other out.

If you don't plan on gaming, you can switch out the 1500X for an APU, like the 2200G, which will also work on that motherboard. While the APU is less powerful CPU-wise, the performance stump won't be noticeable as it is still a great budget chip, and you wont be doing any serious gaming on it. The chip is so great it can likely run most low-tier games at med-low graphics 1080p without a discrete GPU.

If you are going to be gaming, for GPU I'd recommend no lower than a 1050 ti, and no higher than a 1080. The sweet spot for that CPU without overclocking would be an RTX 2060, or 1070. Getting the right card is vital to avoid a bottleneck (which is when your CPU is too powerful, or isn't powerful enough for the GPU, resulting in worse performance) . I have a 1500X and personally use a 970 (about a 1060 3GB), and I have no issues. I plan on upgrading to an RTX 2060.

For future-proofing, it might be wise to upgrade to 16GB instead of 8GB RAM, or at least keep it in your mind for the future.

I'd recommend a 500-600W PSU 80+gold/silver for your build. When it comes to PSU it's always best to go a little overkill, so you never have to upgrade it.
