Wanting to upgrade to 8.1 After I learned that AMD wouldn't be supporting Vista on driver updates.
Does my computer "specifications" meet the "requirements" for 8/8.1? Not to savy on the internal objects for my computer. I'LL LET YOU BE THE JUDGE! 😀

Yeah it will be fine, knowing vista myself, it will actually work better with windows 8.1

Vista? You kidding?
Vista is a snail.

With Win7 or Win8, you rig will run faster...a lot faster..

I kept my Q6600+P5E X38+6GB DDR2 1000 rig until October last year, I went with this rig about 8 years long from XP, Vista, Win7, Win8 and Win8.1. Never had any problems.

It is only a snail if you have less then 6 gig of ram. Which since it is a 32bit system it will. XD it is a ram hog.

I migrated from 32bit to 64bit Win version starting on Vista.
Never wanted to go back to 32bit since then.
and...the rig had originally only 4GB (recognized only about 3GB by WinXp 32bit), I added the 2GB about 4 years (2011) later along with Win7 x64.
I fished the 2GB DDR2 for only 20 bucks from eBay.
