Will my cooler fit?

I have an Asus M5A97 Evo R.2 mobo, an AMD fx 6300 CPU and 8gb of Corsair vengenace pro RAM. I was wondering if the coolermaster hyper 212 evo would fit onto the mobo without blocking the ram slots and does the fx 6300 even need an aftermarket cooler. Thanks in advance

it will as the cooler is small. if the cooler's fan is too thick than Scythe "SLIP STREAM SLIM" 120x12mm Case Fan

Yep no problem - great thing about the EVO is the fan can be adjusted height wise, so any DRAM will work with it, I've got GSkill Tridents sitting under a 212 on my IB and Ripjaws X sitting under another 212 on my SB
