i wanted to upgrade my graphics card for a while (currently i have gtx 960 2gb) but i'm afraid that my cpu is too weak to handle 1070ti.. my pc is:
i5 6600
asus b150M-A
16gb ram ddr4
gtx 960 2gb
will there be a significant bottleneck?

Solution
If you are playing at 1080p or less then in some titles a 1070Ti might be held back a bit by an i5 6600, but the 1070ti would still be a massive upgrade over a 960(even in if you don't get full usage).
The skylake i5 6600 will still be less of bottleneck then most AMD ryzens. If those last 5%-10% GPU performance concerns you, your only real option is to go with a intel i7 (kabylake, coffeelake, or newer.) unlocked K CPU.

Are you playing at 1080p 60fps? In that case you would be fine going with something like a 1070 or 1060 6gb. I had a 6gb 1060 for about two years and it played just about everything with at least high settings, at the time. In terms of raw performance, from a 960 to a 1060, it is literally about a 100% performance jump. I also once had a 960 2gb, and going to a 1060 yielded double the fps in most titles out there. Less bottle-necking potential with those two cards as well.
