Will my cpu wear out If I encode video for 3 - 4 hrs?

I am going to build a gaming pc with the Inter core i5 2400. Recenlty, I have been doing some 4k encoding and I am worried I have damadged the cpu. I use some cooler master hyper 12 evo please help

not unless your pulling an unsafe voltage (above 1.3V for haswell, most likely 1.4V for your chip) and are reaching temps of 80°c upwards.
your CPU is going to wear out anyway but it will outlive its usefulness before it kills itself

As long as your CPU is adequately cooled and as long as you have a good SMPS, your CPU is likely to last longer before it shows any signs of wear .

If you keep your CPU happy, it'll keep you happy 😀 .
