Will my first desktop build work?

This is my first PC build and I was just wondering whether there would be any issues/difficulties when putting the parts together.
I already have a monitor and I ran the build through PCPartPicker and there were no problems there.

I do not plan to overclock my CPU because I don't think I would need to for the time being, and this is my first PC build so I don't want any warranties to be breached etc.
I realize I have a CPU that can be overclocked and a CPU Cooler for overclocking. My thinking behind this is the CPU Cooler seemed a good and relatively cheap fan that would keep everything cool just in case my room starts cooking. Also, I may be interested in overclocking in the future, but I feel I don't have enough knowledge depth in how PCs work yet.

Anyway, my PC build goes like this:

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Nq9xQ7

Thank you!

Thanks!
I am going to follow a build guide online, but are there any stand out guides that you know of (especially ones that are for beginners or that is similar to my build so that it is easy to follow along with)?

😀 This build basically comes from a bunch of threads on Toms Hardware! So a big shout out to the community for helping me put together a great build!

I would just search YouTube and choose a video you can follow and understand.

Wow, thanks for the response! It's lucky I was going to start buying the parts next week :)
I'll have a look into some of your changes, but could you tell me why you changed them?

I can see that the CPU Cooler is quieter which I like, but did you change some of the other stuff (such as the RAM and case) just to decrease costs to compensate for the change in Storage and CPU Cooler, or because they're better? I don't mind saving up a bit more to get the case and RAM that I initially wanted because they're a bit better.

Also, the change to the Storage, comparing Western Digital and Seagate, I thought Seagate was a bit unreliable, but I saw a post on Toms Hardware a couple years back which involved a poll between the two brands and Seagate came out on top. I guess that's outdated now. I will make that change anyway. Thanks!

Lastly, as a general message, I've noticed in a lot of people's builds additions of fans that are extra to be put on the case. I've seen this in videos where people take away fans already on the case, and replace them. Would I need this?

Thanks again!

Thank you so much, I've made the changes, but could you please answer me one more question?
The fans you mentioned: Corsair AF120 and SP120, there are two types: 120mm or 140mm. Both fit inside the case I wanted and I've sized them up, but how many would you recommend that I get?
Should I replace all the built-in fans or replace a couple?
My initial thought was to get one 120mm and one 140mm fan.

My almost finished build:

I believe that there is one fan at the front of the case and at the back, so I'll just get two more fans, one for the top and one for the side.
Thanks!
