Hi all,

I am planning on purchasing a third monitor soon, and wanted some input on whether or not my system will be powerful enough to game across the three monitors
(yes, I do understand it will depend on the game)

My system ---
MoBo : MSI MPG z390-m Gaming Edge
CPU : Intel i7-8700K
Cooler : CORSAIR Hydro Series, H115i RGB PLATINUM, 280mm
GPU : Gigabyte AORUS 2080
RAM : 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200Hz (16GB x 2)
PSU : EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G+, 80 Plus Gold 1000W

Monitors: 2x Dell S2716DG
2560 x 1440
144Hz
G-Sync
1ms response time

I am planning on buying either a 3rd Dell S2716DG
or purchasing a 34" ultra wide with similar specifications.

Some Games I play ---
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Far Cry 5
Final Fantasy XV

My goal is hopefully to be able across the 3 monitors in 2k resolution;
7680 x 1440 or 8560 x 1440 (if I buy an ultrawide monitor)

With graphic settings on high/ultra

I would also like to be able to play with atleast 60 fps (hopefully more)

Is this achievable with my setup?
should I upgrade my 2080 to a 2080ti?

What other upgrades should I consider to make this possible?

Thanks for the replies!

I will push towards upgrading to a 2080ti.

Any other upgrades I can do to help improve my fps?

I'm not really interested in SLI at this time; I have researched it and seems that it works well for certain games and is a waste for other games
(also not ready to spend another 1k+ on a second GPU)

awesome, thank you for your help!
anything I can do help speed up the 2080ti to help push is faster for the set-up?
or is just a matter of waiting for a more powerful GPU to get better fps?
