Hello guys I am fairly new to this.

I build my computer while ago and here are the specs.

CPU: Amd Fx-6300
Motherboard: Asrock 970pro3 R2.0
Memory Kingston HyperX 8gb 1866mghz
Graphics: AMD R7 370

Now my Question is that my friend gave me his spare kingston hyperx 16gb 1866mghz, i installed that in my board and my computer turns on but after 10 or 15 mins the windows just freeze and i cant do anything on it. So I am not sure what i did wrong? Any help would be great.

I have done that, i did the 8-4-8-4 ram, and now my windows won't boot., i can go into the motherboard bios but cant go into windows.

In the Bios I Changed the DRAM voltage to 1.6 and cpu voltage to 1.3. also i changed the DRAM frequency from 860 mghz to 1720mghz. Now the system is totally working fine. No problems at all. Thank you Tradesman1 for your help.

I got another problem now. The windows is working fine, but while using the windows will suddenly freeze and i wont be able to use my computer. Then i will restart my pc and log into windows. working fine for few minutes. Then I will get the blue screen of death stating error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. And this keeps happening.

I updated all my drivers and updated my bios. After updating bios i stop getting any display 🙁. So i removed 8 gb kit from mobo and start the pc and its all turn up fine, no error nothing everything is running up fine. Then i went to bios and changed the DRAM voltage to 1.6v and NB voltage to 1.32 v. Put the RAM back on the mobo but still no display. If i use only one kit ram its working fine.
