Will my motherboard be fine if I get a 1050 Ti?

My gpu died recently and I wanted to know if my mobo would be fine with a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050Ti.

Motherboard: ASUS - P8H61-M LX3 R2.0
CPU: i5-2500T 2.30 GHz
PSU: Tacens Radix VII AG 600W 80 Plus Silver

Hard to say some of the H61 chipset boards have trouble running 700-1000 series cards.

You may need a BIOS update before installing a new GPU, I have a Z68 board and with a BIOS update had no problems, seen the same on some H61 board's but it varies on when the last BIOS release was.

Okay and how do I update BIOS? I downloaded the latest version from the ASUS website. What do I need to install it?

The BIOS update may or may not help , just be prepared in case it don't run , good luck and have a great day.

I have the same question, but my MB is a P8H61-M LE. I updated the bios already, but I want to be sure the 1050ti will work before I buy it.

You can't be sure with H61 , sometimes they run sometimes they don't.
