Question will my motherboard slot my gpu

Hey guys hope all is well. i recently purchased a pc super cheaper however the part in the pc are slightly older so im gradually updating it i have the prime b460m-a and i was wondering if i would slot the 4060 as i have found a good cheap one to buy many thanks

MoBo has PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot. GPU has PCI-E x16 connection. So, it will "slot" just fine.

Though, RTX 4060 operates in PCI-E 4.0 x8, but is backwards compatible with PCI-E 3.0. Since it is x8 GPU, you'd be loosing some performance, ~1% only, which is negligible.

so just to double check it will still worse but ill loses
a minor bit of performance if so thats fine . also thank you very much for your help
