Will my motherboard work if some thermal paste fell on it?

I was installing the Cooler Master TX3 but when I help it to install some thermal paste fell onto my motherboard. Some of it got into the little metal things connecting to a little black box and some even got into my PCIe 3.0 slot. Will my motherboard work anymore?
