Will my Motherboard work with an 8700k

i currently have the msi-z87i motherboard and im trying to upgrade to the 8700k or the 9700k would it fit both of those cpus or not thanks for the response

No, you need a z370 or z390 motherboard

Nope. Thats a 4th gen. Intel board which can support only 4th gen. chips. 8700k/9700k are 8th/9th gen. They are not compatible.
The best you can go with that board is 4790k, which is still a good CPU, specially for gaming.
