Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade my mobo, processor and ram.
I was wondering if someone could tell me if any problems would occur compatibility wise with the parts I'm looking at.

The parts I was thinking of buying were:

Mobo: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
RAM: Corsair Vengence LPX 16 GB

My current build is:
Mobo: ASUS H97M-E

CPU: i7 4790k
Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212X
RAM: HyperX Fury 16gb DDR3
GPU: gigabyte geforce gtx 1060 6gb
Power Supply: 400W
Memory: Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB, I also have a 1TB HDD

I think that's all that's important. I tried putting most my parts in pcpartpicker and I got these errors:

"The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports are disabled."

"The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard."

Should I be worried about these?

Thanks a mil

Make and model of the PSU and it's age? I'm going to take a big leap and say, no you will need a new PSU for that build. The rest, as in, the cooler, storage and GPU can migrate over. The CPU comes with a box cooler so in case you lack the mounting hardware for the Hyper212 you can use the boxed cooler in the interim period. Mind sharing a link to the ram kit?

The PSU is a maverick 500w, I thought it was 400w but I guess not. It's about 5 years old. Here's the link:

And here's the one I'm looking at: https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Memory/VENGEANCE-LPX/p/CMK16GX4M2B3200C16
