Will my old disk drive work on my new pc?

This is a picture of the Drive's specs.It is from and old 2006 Dell pre-build.
I just want to install Windows on my system via is drive! Will it be compatible? I don't want to use a USB thumb drive . I wont use it for games as I plan to use Steam. Cheers!

It is an IDE drive most new motherboards do not have ide connectors onboard just SATA.

Provided that your new motherboard has an IDE/ATAPI connector, yes, it will.

it an ide drive. all new motherboards now use sata ports in the last few years I have not seen a ide port on a new mb.
sata drive new cost you 15-20.
