[SOLVED] Will my old HDD work in a mew pc

Hello, i have just made a new system and have used the old HDD inside it. i haven't done anything to it before putting it in the new PC, IE clearing it or performing any type of preparation. now the systems disk is at 100% and the system is running really slow and it shouldn't. i don't know what to do and i am at a dead point at the moment. BTW i an using the same win10 that was on the old system, i literally unplugged it and put it in the new one.

my specs are
Ryzen 5 1600x at 4.1
1070ti
16gb ddr4 3200 corsair vengeance rgb
B450 mortar
600w bronze psu
the hdd is a 500gb do not know how old it is peice of crapp

if anyone can give me a solution to this problem it will be much appreciated

Your system is trying to figure out why none of the old hardware is responding. It doesn't realize that it's in a new computer. You will need to format and reinstall Windows.
