Will my PC build work?

Solution
A few suggestions:

- Get Samsung850 EVO 250 GB for a system drive instead of that horrible Kingston (this drive is waaay worse now than a few years ago, they are using cheaper components to make it)
- Instead of 2x2TB disks, get 1x4TB or 1x6TB, whatever. More disks = more noise and more vibration. Instead of Seagates, get one WD Red disk - very reliable, extremely silent and virtually without heat/vibrations. Perfect for data storage, even in desktop systems, not only NAS.
- Get a better PSU. SuperNova NEX is far from it. Get Supernova G2 if you can, it has 10 years of warranty. 650W is fine, unless you plan to SLI in the future - in that case get 850W.
- You are overspending on CPU cooling for sure. A good 3rd party air cooler like...

A good 3rd party air cooler like Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO, Raijintek Themis or ARCTIC Freezer 13 CO would all cool more than good enough, even with overclocking, unless your aim is to overclock to extremes. Also, no risks of water spill are involved 😉
- Seriously, what's with monitors? :) I suppose you had them before and are not willing to get rid of them... but I would recommend getting a decent 27" or even 30" monitor if screen real estate is what you need. Especially with that nice graphics card you have.

Solution

I am also a photographer, i will need a whole lot of storage space for all the photos.

PS. i already have the two monitors, i will not be purchasing them.

Thank you very much for your help! i will change out the Kingston SSD and get a 4TB HDD like you said.

Regarding the monitors, i already have those, they're on my desk right now! haha

I could possibly sell them, and look into getting two 27'' Monitors, would that be your best bet?

I will also swap out the Power Supply like you recommend, SLI with a 980 Ti seems a little overkill to me but maybe in the future. ;D

Cheers again!

Great choices there, sir.

Yeah, if you can, sell both monitors and either get one huge or 2x27". Photographers can never have too much screen space... since monitors are your primary tool, do not spare money on them if possible - they will outlast several rigs anyway, and affect the quality of your work and your health directly.

Thank you so much for your answer!

Helped a lot!

All the best~

Yeah he pretty much summed up my advice. Do what he said and you'll have a good build. Good luck!
