Question Will my pc support gtx 1070 ?

Hi im new to computer details, i have i-5 3.2 gigahertz processor, 8gb ram, 1tb HDD, 300gb SSD and old raddeon 7700 Graphic card, i can have good deal on gtx 1070 and im wonder if my pc will even handle that card right. thank you

Which Motherboard and PSU do you actually have ? What's the last BIOS version date of this system ? Which i5 CPU model is that ?

Psu is Chiefmax 450W
CPU is i5 2320 3.0 Ghz
I'm trying to find what Motherboard I have so far I got Lenovo mahobay eskt20a
Bios date 10/22/2012

That PSU model definitely needs to get upgraded and replaced for some other high-quality unit. Does this system support both the LEGACY and UEFI boot modes ?

You need to check the BIOS settings, or maybe read the Motherboard's Manual.

At least thats what i found in msinfo32

Actually the problem is most of the newer/latest gen GPUs require UEFI mode to boot properly, though there is no hard and fast rule to this. The GTX 1070 may or may not work on this system, but I'm not fully sure though.

what you think about GTX 780 Ti ?? Do you think that would be better option for me now ??

Honestly speaking, I'm not 100% sure about this, so that's why I didn't respond to your PM as well. I think the GTX 780 Ti should work, but please wait for others to post a reply as well.

I don't want to misguide you though. Maybe others might have a better solution and answer to this.....
