Hello guys. :)

So, first. my PC Specs:

Motherboard: FUJITSU SIEMENS D2812-A12 Scoket LGA775
Graphics card: Palit GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5
Memory: 8GB ( 4x2GB ) DDR2 400MHZ
Hard disk 1: 153GB ExcelStor Technology J8160S ATA Device (SATA 2)
Hard disk 2: 149GB Hitachi HDT721016SLA380 ATA Device (SATA 2)
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHZ 2Cores - 2Threads
PSU: It says 300W Maximum, it's a Fujitsu Siemens one.

-------------------------------------------------------------

My question is, will my PSU handle an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHZ 4Cores - 4Threads, and if not, how much wattage do I need.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you. :)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Yes but I think you're first concern should be that if you've got any BIOS updates pending for that motherboard. The other thing to note is if your case/chassis/system has adequate cooling since the Q9550 is 30 watts more hotter than the E8400.
