Hello

I'm building a small form factor computer but I can't get a psu the correct size that's over 300W in UK for love or money. According to pc parts picker my build will run between 199w-210w.

I don't know if a 300w psu will be enough power and keep the psu in working order for long period of time. I've included to pcpart picker link to my build with the pentium and a link to the psu I want to buy, but if I could I would like to add a i3 and higher speed ram if I can.

My fault, yes it only has a 4 pin cpu power connector, think that cpu will be fine with it, means you would only use one half of the 8pin connector on the motherboard.

What is it for a low powered office machine might be ok 2-3years but anything more than that you would be far better of spending a bit more on a good gold psu save you the headache

He needs a TFX psu since his case only supports that formfactor.

Think btw that 300watts for the parts picked will be fine. Would rather Pick the Be Quiet one for having truly 300watts and at least one pcie connector. The Seasonic has about 250watts on the +12V rail.

Nothing truly, but it has about 250watts on the +12V rails combined where the Be Quiet one really can do 300watts. It also has the one pcie cable so would you in the future maybe upgrade the gpu and it would need it you at least have it. That would be my reasons to pick it. If you are okay with the Seasonic will it likely do fine.

Both have 3 years warranty and the same average lifetime at 25C.

Could you suggest some others that might be good for me please

Either TFX psu's are very underrated or very sparse, but cannot find alot more in
That case is all that you looked at? Cannot find a smallform factor case that uses SFX psu's that suits your wishes?
I have looked at othere cases and options there seams to be a big shortage of small form factor cases in the UK tried loads of different websites tye only ones I found where from brands that I never heard of and had poor reviews or super expensive ones I chose the antec case and seasonic psu because there from good recognised brands so I'm granted some level of quality.the seasonic psu is more there industrial OEM product so I thought it would last me a while
