will SEASONIC M12II-620 do? i currently have i3-6100
Yes that would be much better then your current PSU.

So the 6600K would be an improvement due to the extra cores and overclocking if your using a Z170/Z270 motherboard but we are seeing more then 4 cores utilized in games. Depending on your budget I would try for a i7 if possible or consider moving to a Ryzen platform.

The Seasonic m12II are significantly better than the VS 450 (mostly the older orange unit you currently have) and it should do the trick. If you can find a cx550 (a grey label unit) for the same price, however, that would be a better option.
