hello
im going to upgrade my pc to this components:
Core 2 Quad 8300
4+2gb ddr2 ram
gtx 750 ti
and i have a 300w psu for this components
should i upgrade my psu or it will be good for this components
and if its not good which components should i use for the Smilliar price and power?

Solution

I'm assuming this upgrade direction is due to budget concerns.

Power wise, I think you're Okay. PSU quality wise? Well.. what brand and model of PSU do you have right now (power rating isn't enough info... i.e. Corsair 850W PSU... not enough info. Corsair TX850 PSU... much much better info, Yes. I know different power rating than yours, but it's good enough for my example.)

Are you going used on that GTX-750Ti? If not, and your locale is decent...

thank you 😀

TBH, That PSU sounds like something I'd replace as fast as possible with a better unit. Spending $50-75 USD (what would be in that price range in the U.S. market anyway) on a known quality PSU will ensure that your components last even longer. (I can't find any real info on it and I am unfamiliar with it anyway.)
