[SOLVED] Will my RAM be downgraded to 2667 due to my motherboard?

So, doing compatibility checks just to be sure before it's too late to cancel any of the parts I bought on Black Friday for my build.
I can see on the specs for my CPU and my motherboard that the 32GB of RAM I got is compatible.

The RAM:
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) SDRAM XMP 2.0

What I can't work out is whether I'll be able to use the full 3200? Or will my motherboard automatically downgrade it to 2667?
The motherboard lists it three ways, and I have no idea which category my AMD Ryzen 7 1700 falls under:

B450 can run ram above the CPUs memory spec, in other words, you can run ram above 2666mhz with your config. One thing to be noted, however, is that first generation Ryzen CPUs like a Ryzen 7 1700 have a pretty weak memory controller, so while you CAN run ram above 2666mhz, you may have issues pushing to high frequencies. 3200mhz should work just fine, but there is a potential it might not. I have ran 3200mhz on a Ryzen 5 1600 without issues.

You should just enable XMP and the ram will automatically run at 3200mhz. Not sure exactly what speed it will run at without XMP on, probably 2133, 2400, or possibly 2666mhz.

Currently I am running 4000mhz ram with B350, but I am using a zen2 cpu.

Your cpu supports up to 2666mhz, however it could probably run 2933mhz so just find some of that 2933mhz stuff that has lower latency/tighter timings, maybe even just 2666mhz stuff if you wanna play it safe. Most Ryzen cpus are great at running high speed memory, mine ends up having instability at 3666mhz ram since that literally breaks the infinity fabric. Meaning it can run up to 3600mhz ram and it's a Ryzen 5 2600. I got lucky on that, and currently run my ram at 3200mhz since I don't feel comfortable running my ram that high. You can use intelburntest for mostly cpu stability testing and then memtest64 for ram stability testing if you do decide to run ram past supported speeds :D

So I take it that I could technically use the 3200mHz I bought, and since it's XMP 2.0 the motherboard should downclock it to 2666mHz by default?

Sorry if that's a dumb question, this is my first time building, still a lot to learn.
I am willing to sacrifice a bit of speed in exchange for stability - I'm looking for this box to be the primary workstation for our household for at least 5 years.

Thank you for all that, you just taught me a lot : )

I'll try it using XMP to automatically set the speed, and if I run into any issues (or it's ridiculous and chooses to underclock down to 2133), I'll turn it off and manually set it to 2666 mHz.
