Hello everyone. After a lot of consideration I decided to buy the ryzen 5 2600. I already ordered it, so it'll arrive tomorrow or on Saturday. The question I have is: will it be good for gaming? I'm gaming at 1080p 60hz. I play games like Rainbow Six Siege, Witcher 3, GTA 5, CS:GO and a lot more. Will there be any bottlenecking involved? How many fps will I have in these games? Right now I have an fx 9370. Will the difference in gaming be huge? My gpu is the gtx 1070. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to play pretty much every game at 1080p 60 fps on Ultra settings.

It shouldn't bottleneck. That CPU is FAST.

You could even go higher with the GPU if you wanted to play at higher resolutions.....but for 1080p.....I think a 1070 is plenty.

I have another question. Right now I have a corsair h100i v2, but I ordered an am4 bracket kit to be compatible with the 2600. It will take some time to arrive. Should I wait for it to arrive or use the the wraith stealth cooler and once the am4 bracket kit arrives, use my h100i v2? If I use the wraith stealth cooler while I'm waiting, should I try to overclock with that cooler or wait for the bracket kit to arrive and overclock with the h100i v2? I want to overclock the cpu till 4ghz. So what do you think I should do? Thanks in advance.
