3.if i can play modern AAA games then on what fps and on what settings
4.a friend of mine said that my cpu would outdate soon is thata tru?

Solution
1. There will always be some kind of bottleneck in any system. It could be your HDD, your OS, your monitor, your actual game itself, etc. However, if you are pertaining solely to the CPU-GPU pairing, then, the i5-4690s would pair nicely (balanced) with a GTX 1060.

2. Yes you can, but, again, it will entirely depend on the game, the resolution you are playing at, the acceptable fps for you, and the graphics settings you are using.

3. Typically, a GTX 1060 (the 6GB version, not the 3GB), is a top-of-the-line recommended GPU for 1080p/60Hz gaming. This means that most (not all) games tend to reach 50-60fps on ultra settings. But, on selected GPU-intensive AAA games, expect your fps to dip as low as 30-ish, especially if you have all...

But, on selected GPU-intensive AAA games, expect your fps to dip as low as 30-ish, especially if you have all graphics eye-candy settings in Ultra. Of course, this can be easily resolved by decreasing graphics on a setting that is most acceptable to you.

4. It's true. It's actually a bit outdated years ago, when the 6th-gen and 7th-gen Intel CPUs were released. More so, now, that the AMD Ryzen 5 CPUs beat the i5's in price/performance.

Solution
1 shouldn't at 1080
2 yes
3 magic 8 ball says try again later. seriously depends on the games requirements and many other factors
4 I play Doom, shadow Warrior 2, unreal Tournament, as well as older games, killing floor 2, cs:go rocket league and my CPU is 8 years old 955 black & hd7950- My system is old AF but I have not felt the NEED to upgrade quite yet. again it depends on the games you need to play and your disposable income
