[SOLVED] Will Old computer support 4K monitor?

Will Old ASUS P8 H67-M EVO motherboard, Intel H67 chipset, no video card support Dell 4k High resolution monitor? Current using HDMI connection.

This depends on your CPU but, it looks like you can run 4k on the Intel HD 4000 graphics card at 24Hz. You may have to set this up as a custom resolution.
24Hz will not be a great experience so, although possible, I wouldn't recommend it.

@sizzling Yeah, it doesn't look like 4k is 'officially' supported. Even more reason to not do it.

The HD4000 integrated graphics on the i7-3770 has a max resolution of 1920X1200 via HDMI.

I doubt any of the other CPUs available for that board have better integrated graphics than HD4000.

The monitor should be able to display lower resolutions though, so if his question is if he will be able to use the monitor at all then the answer should be yes, just not at 4k.
