Question Will price drop for rog 3080 white?

So ironic when 3080 12g black is 799 and 10g white is 1089 on Newegg.

Even 3090 drops to msrp at 1299...

White is a specialty color, the market is generally smaller so the price will be higher. Eventually, like all tech, the price will drop but by that time the card will most likely be a generation or 2 out of date.

FWIW: A white 1080 TI is currently taking bids on ebay for $400

I would just wait for the RTX 4000 series. I'm tempted to buy a 3080 since price has been dropping but lovelace is right around the corner.

Yes, I saw that one. But once you know you could pay 799 for rog 3080 12g, 839 is not tempting any more...
Also ROG 12g has EVA edition on Amazon around 839 but it's gone fast...
