1.In my country there is 50$ price difference between r7 260x and r9 270x so i have a option that should i get a 1tb hdd or better graphics card (btw I am using i3 -4160 and gaming at 1366x768) and please show me some benchmarks between these two cards at 720p?

2.how long would each card last? Untill they are able to play low settings on 720p at 30fps or above?

Its about the GTX 970, much more powerful, but the talk is interesting.

I would say, the R9 270X is not an overkill for 720p. It highly depends on what you play, what settings and what fps you want to achieve. I would recommend to get a GTX 960, instead of the R9 270X. It performs better and the cheapest version have same price league like the AMD card.

On the linked site bit-tech.net you can see the difference between R7 260X and R9 270X. The comparison and benchmarks here are with higher resolution, but you can see how they perform. I wouldn't buy the 260X. Instead go for 270X or better for almost same price get the 960.
