Will registry clean up stop my computer from shutting down or getting a blue scr

My computer sometimes freezes, shut down automatically or i get a blue screen and then it shuts off. I want to run a registry cleaner, will that solve the problem? I ran all the diagnostic stuff and everything else I could think of. Or does this mean I have a virus?

It can but not always, i recommend updating system drivers and also see if your able to update the BIOS
