Question will ryzen 5 3400 g will be good with gtx1660 ti?

i am planning to build a pc with ryzen 5 3400g and gtx 1660 ti ... will it be good or should i go with i5 9400f and gtx 1660 ti ?? my main purpose is gaming and programing .. please do help me guys thanks!

in almost every scenario 9400f is better than 3400g unless u really need the APU..

Since you are considering a 1660Ti , which is on the pricier side, my suggestion is you save $47 more and buy a Ryzen 5 3600. It will be worth it especially in future when games will require more core support.

3400g makes no sense for you, get the 9400f or a 3600ryzen or maybe a 2600ryzen. 3400g isn't zen2 it's zen+.
