Will single GTX 460 run 3 monitors??

if you want that you need an ATI card which supports eyefinity (3 displays). All the ATI 5xxx or 6xxx cards do that. For nvidia you need 2 cards to display more than 2 monitors. If you are planning on gaming with 3 monitors you really need 2 higher end cards in sli/crossfire. If you just want to display 3 monitors for non-gaming use, then any of the ati 5xxx series or 6xxx series cards are capable. For a card similar to gtx460 performance an ati 6850 would be the go.

Solution

As long as the motherboard supports it you shouldn't have any problems. Most boards are either/or and not both so figure out which you have first if you're wanting a dual card setup.
