From 3rd may there is a sale going on amazon, and I feel like it's a good time to upgrade my aging cpu.
I have a fx 6300 underclocked to 3.1 ghz(yes it overheats even with a aftermarket cooler at stock settings with boost enabled and shuts my pc down while gaming).
With some 8 GB of ddr3 ram.
I know that ryzen 3000 is couple weeks away but I have a feeling that it won't be available earlier than july, which means 2 more months.
What do you guys suggest, should I upgrade cpu to ryzen and ddr4 ram in the sale?
Will be pairing it with a gtx 960 for the time being.
Psu is a 650 watt 80+ bronze from antec.
Cooler is deepcool gammaxx 300, will use stock heatsink of ryzen though until necessary.
1 TB hdd from WD if that makes any difference.
Also if I can, i'd like to stay away from OCing, cos here in india delhi ambient temps get as high as 45 C during summer.
Is the 1300x + a320 a good choice?
Or 1200 + b450 ?
Please suggest, thanks and regards.

Obviously, what you get is going to depend on your budget (and what goes on sale), but of the two options you listed, I'd go with the Ryzen 3 1200 and B450 motherboard as it's more likely to be compatible with the 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs.

I have ordered a r3 1200 and a b450m gaming gigabyte they should arrive this week, just 1 last question, should I use my deepcool gammaxx 300 or the stock wraith cooler on the new cpu?

Yes, currently setting my new system up.
Gonna OC to 3.7 ghz on stock cooler.
Couple of months later will get a new gpu (navi?) And another vengeance stick.
Would be a pretty sweet midrange setup.
