Will tablets take over PC's for hardcore users
I'm just about to start making my $5000
Hardcore PC build.
Should I even bouther just to find out in 2 years nobody
Users PC's and there's no support for the industry

that is a long way down the road still I think. tablets are a completely different animal. the die shrink started out a whole decade behind it's larger counterparts. if we all remember the 2.2 cpu scoring(windows experience index) intel atom cpus at a time when every other middle of the road cpu on the market scored in the high 5's and 6's. where tablets are just starting to play games in an acceptable fashion, it is still far from the maxed out draw distances, and ultra high texture quality, and all the other cranked up settings we enjoy on our multi hundred dollar and multi hundred watt drawing video cards that double as space heaters and require full sized atx tower cases. just my 2 cents.

I certainly don't think so. There are people paying $500 and more for tablets that can barely run games in an acceptable fashion. For that price you could get everything you needed for a computer that does so much more than a tablet. I don't think anything will replace something as revolutionary as the PC... especially if it doesn't have a keyboard.

Will a Tablet ever take over PC's? It depends. I own a tablet (got it as a gift) and several computers. I also sell and fix tablets. Personally, I see my tablet as an extension to my computers; I'll use it to check my e-mails, to watch videos on and play games with. Sure, I can do all these things on my computers, but it's easier to do it on my tablet.
These days, you can even get hybrids (convertibles) like the Asus T100, HP Split X2, Microsoft Surface PRO 2.
Technically speaking, the most advanced tablet will never be as powerful as the most advanced computer.
However, people like tablets. In the store where I work, I sell twice as many tablets as I sell laptops/desktops/all-in-ones.
People like Facebook-ing on the sofa, watching videos on the bus, playing angry birds in the bathtub and so on.
So to answer your question, will tablets take over PC? It depends.

Tablets I believe will eventually replace the low-end sub $500 market, but never the higher end PCs. And I don't really care if they do replace the sub $500 market because all of those machines are obsolete 2 years before they are released.

I dont think tablets will replace PC... they are both different. For more serious work such as preparing a financial report/ analysis of a multi- national company, the lay outing architectural plans using a design software, preparing animations for a movie or a commercial, analyzing statistical data and many more work related stuff .. all these things you cannot do without a PC. But I will say that most PC users will be attracted to buying a tablet, as an additional gadget for convenience and mobility- not to mention the recreational value it offers the users. Nonetheless a tablet cannot replace the value of a pc as a powerful tool in most professions.

I believe in the future eventually they will. Not for awhile though, but at some point it's going to get to the point where the only thing useful about the Laptop/Desktop is the monitor and keyboard, which as you know, can be made up for and already is. Tablets aren't always going be expensive as they are now either I highly doubt soon enough. You can already snag a manufacture refurbished DV8P for 170 bucks on Ebay right now.

I think it is incredible doubtful. Tablets are limit because of their size, while a full atx tower has few cubic feet of room in some cases. Tablets also must be mobile so they have to use a battery this limits the power the CPU and GPU can draw on, while once again the desktop can have over a 1000 watt power supply. And the final nail in the coffin is mobility again in a different respect, it is something that is displayed in todays laptop prices. A i5 laptop will run about $600 while a i7 laptop with a gtx 780M can run you over $2000. Plus the mobile version of the graphic card are significantly weaker. Now you want to take that sort of performance and shrink it even further to the size of a 10" table the weights less then 3 pounds. With all these factors it is not realistic to expect tablets to over take desktops, laptops, consoles as the hardcore gaming crowds main device, at least not for the near future.

I m still seen that Tablet like the larger screen smart phone ,
well, talbet did take some office user from PC,
but there still has too many thing we cant do on it,
like:
cant play Diablo3 on it
cant OC the tablic.....
cant do ppt easy (well, some can connet bluetooth keyboard with it, but still not friendly at all

Surely no. I have access to desktop PC, standard laptop, ultrabook, tablet and various smartphones and the desktop is still my main and primary device for work.

Even the laptop is about compromises. I can imagine something like Surface Pro with a keyboard, optimally with 12 inch screen, could replace my laptop for traveling purposes - conferences etc. But not for main work.

I can imagine someday there could be a device connectable directly to our brain so we can control it directly without anything like touch display, keyboard or mouse and we could have a virtual display to see directly in our head. Such device could be small and usable both at home or on travels. But this is distant future I think...

Build your computer, but I think in the far future large supercomputer's will be used to power the tablets, keeping them thin and light yet powerful. However attachments like mice or keyboards will still be there in the future

The short answer is no, although they could become more popular/used than a PC and Tablets even have Photoshop/video editing software and its much easier to use than it is on PC.

Yes in the Year 2027 PC's as we know them will be obsolete
Tablets will also be obsolete as also laptops and mobile phones.

This system will Teach us and Connect us in ways we never though possibly - unfortunately the World Explodes 1 week after launch ;P

If you are talking about hardcore processing You can forget it for at least 10 years. Tablets just do not yet have the power to compete with the big PC's. The recent gaming tablets still come with many limitations.
