[SOLVED] Will the 2x8gb 3000hz g.skill sticks of ram work on asrock ab350 pro4 motherboard

So right now i have 2x4gb 3000hz t.force sticks of ram and i got a 1x8gb stick of g.skill ram. Tried to add it and it just wouldnt work so i wonder if i can get rid of 2x4gb sticks and replace them with 2x8gb sticks.

Replacing the 2x4gb with 2x8gb should be fine but you want them from the same kit as they've been tested to work together so you really want to get rid of both the 2x4gb kit and the 1x8gb stick and buy a 2x8gb kit.

They may or may not work if you buy them separately which is why your better off buying them in a kit as they've been tested to work together.

Updating the motherboard BIOS can help with memory stability/compatibility.
